Achievements
Prime Care recognises that the people we support want and are entitled to be both visible, valuable and contributing citizens in their community. Prime Care listens to the needs and aspirations of the people we support, and as a result:
- Many people we support are elected board members on the Boroughs Learning Disabilities Partnership Board helping to shape and develop new services and opportunities
- Prime Care has its own Tenants Forum which meets weekly to organise social events, develop community links, inform Prime Care of its performance and development, and meet friends.
- We are in the final stages of developing a sensory garden, and an allotment project (fully accessible) for all its service users to gain work experience and have fun.
- We also operate a specialized Autism Outreach Service, working with families who care for their family members at home. All our clients are welcome to use any of the joint services described above, to maybe friends and be involved in group activities.
